This year in Faith bible School has been a year of growth, ah-ha moments, "I know that (why haven't I been doing that?), and we're doing okay there. Faith Bible School has been important in forcing Jeff and me to set aside time, which we have very lttle of, to put God's Word first. As a couple, it has caused us to grow together as we have spent time discussing the classes, books, and "why did I answer that test question like that?" It was one of the best investments of time and money we have ever spent on our marriage.

We know we are called to minister to the fatherless and have for the past 12 years done that through Foster Care and Adoption. We have expanded our family, stretched our resources and learned to rely on God for finances, energy and "divine connections." We have a desire to share and teach what we have learned both in a group setting and one on one. A new area of ministry God has been opening up for is is ministering to families raising children diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. In the natural thee children are hopeless, doomed by the exposure of alcohol while in their mother's womb. BUT GOD. . .

Carolynn Bjurstrom
We all have a purpose and a calling. I have discovered during this year of Faith Bible School that my ministry is the Ministry of Needs. The ministry of needs is being available to meet the needs of others through your God-given gifts. As a Daisy Girl Scout leader, a greeter, a prayer ambassador or just giving out a hug and a word of encouragement, I listen to what God is speaking to my heart and do it.

Faith Bible School has equipped me with knowledge so that I may be ready for any season God has for me. I am preparing to go to Malawi, Africa, and I am excited to see what God has in store for me.

I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow in my faith. I know that He who has begun a good work in me will be faithful to complete it. See you next session.

To God be the Glory for the opportunity of the Jim Kaseman's Faith Bible School that I was able to attend. I am very blessed through the courses, and it has helped me to bless many other people. My prayer is that God will lead me to the right spot where I can serve Him most. Right now, I pray to be able to do Hospital Evangelism and Street Evangelism.

Because of the goodness of God, I am in my early seventies. I started reading the Bible at the age of 6 and have never since stopped reading/studying it privately or at school. but knowing that nobody can know everything in the Bible exhaustively and being irresistibly driven to know more of God's word, I am currently studying at Faith Bile School.

Concerning the courses I have taken, I gladly confess that I have been richly blessed through the new things I have learned, one of which is THE BLOOD COVENANT. This course has remarkably deepened my understanding of the "great exchange" scriptures such as II Corinthians 5:21, which tells me that I am the righteousness of God in Christ because God has made Jesus to be sin for me. The significance of this text is solidly rooted in the Blood Covenant, most specifically in the historical death of Jesus, the lamb of God on the cross. Here Jesus gave me His righteousness and took all my unrighteousness and all its ugliness and its consequences. Furthermore, all that is His is mine. Therefore, the word declares that I am an heir, heir of God, joint heir with Christ. (Romans 817)

This is all the grace of God, which no human language can adequate3ly describe. I greatly rejoice in it, realizing that this everlasting covenant is irrevocable because it was cut between Jesus and God the Father. I must, however, faithfully carry out my covenant responsibility, and this is TRUST GOD AND OBEY HIS WORD.

In late 2004 the Holy Spirit put in my spirit a vision of an All Nations Christian Fellowship in the Quad Cities for fellowship, prayer, study of the Word, witnessing, periodic outreach rallies, and active membership in churches. I shared this with my wife and two others. They embraced the idea. By His grace we had the first meeting in August 26, 2006. I was attended by eight believers. Glory be to the Lord.

Then came the opportunity to study at Faith Bible School which my wife and I grabbed. At School I have learned many valuable things, but the most directly relevant to the vision at hand is the course titled Ministry of Helps from which I got a deep understanding of the importance of Helps in the Gospel Ministry and its centrality being team work in the ministry.

Children's ministry is more vital in this world today than ever before. Today the vast majority of children live in homes where they do not have the opportunity to learn about a God who loves them and wants to protect and bless them. As Children's Pastor here at Faith Walk, I desire to have a Children's Ministry that will teach children to have a personal relationship with a loving Father God. That desire is not only for the children of Faith Walk, but for the community of the world. This ministry has helped plant Children's Ministry in Malawi, Africa, and is looking forwrd to seeing that "plant" thrive, grow and spread to all of Malawi and beyond. I am believing for opportunities in other countries as well. My desire is to have greatness in this area, and Faith Bible School has better equipped me to bring these desires into reality. I highly recommend the school to anyone who desires to not "just get by" in their calling to reach the world, but who wants to impact the world by being the best they can be!

Beatrice Ajibola
Going to the Bible School has been such a blessing for me. In the first place, I was told specifically by God to attend it, which I did in obedience to Him. Since then, I have been blessed because the Bible School opened my eyes to see many things in the Word of God more clearly than I have seen it before.

Therefore I can say that I am better euipped to do what God has called me to do than I was before. He called me to be an encourager to other women so they can be life-givers, thereby living the life God wants for them.

Apart from this is the call to teach, which I have started pursuing in obedience to God. I also know that I have been called to go to Hungary, though I do not have all the details yet, but I trust God to give me all the details in time.

Pastor Karen Birdsley
I first visited Faith Walk in April of 2004. God challenged me, through a message in tongues and interpretation from Pastor Scott, that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance and the words that had been spoken to me by others were not His words. He had called me to preach and pastor and He wanted me to hear HIs voice! I continued to visit until August 1, 2004 when I made a commitment to attend the church believing it was God's will for me. I have never regretted that commitment.

March 27, 2005 I accepted the ministry opportunity of being the Singles Pastor for Faith Walk. In August 2005 the Bible SChool started and I decided to attend to help my walk in this new direction. I had begun to understand fro Pastor Scott's ministry that many of the "things" I had heard and read about the Faith Movement were simply not true. I was anxious to learn more. I hav benefitted greatly from the Bible School training. For the most part, it has been like attending seminary.

I was 12 years old when the Lord called me to preach. In those days "called to preach" was synonymous with pastoring a church. I started speaking that year at the reuest of my pastor and have been ever since. I attended LIFE Bible College in preparation for ministry, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology degree. I have been in ministry over 32 years. In that time I have ministered in many different areas of the church, but my greatest joy is preaching the Word of God to hungry-hearted people and seeing the truth of His Word make an eternal difference in their lives. It is always before me whenever I have opportunity to preach what the Greeks said to Phillip in John 12:21, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." NKJ

Jamie Joy Long
When I was twelve, I received a call to the nations, and my heart's desire has always been to do long-term missions work. My current position as a teacher has taught me many practical lessons, such as, "You do not like me, and I am okay with that." However, I needed to continue preparing myself for the scriptural side of ministry as well.

This Bible School has provided a wonderful opportunity to study many aspects of the Word in a more in-depth, yet still-attainable way unders some of the best teachers. I know that this is only the beginning and there is much of the Word into which I still need to further ground myself. But one of the biggest things I have gleaned from these classes is the magnitude of choice. What I do for God largely stems from my minute-by-minute choices to open myself up and listen to His Spirit inside of me. The scope of His ability to use me will depend on my choice to daily dig further into His Word and His presence and become a true servant who knows His will and ways. My overall sense of reality is based on the choice of not seeing myself as a body with a spirit, but as a spirit who simply resides in a body.

The strength of my decision-making rests on my choice to first consult the Father and to then trust the decision of the One who both made me and knows the future. My ability to mature in Christ correlates with my choice to take wht I learned in these classes and apply them to my life. Fortunately, even though the choices are mine, the Power, the Wisdom and the Glory are His. Finally, with His power and wisdom, I choose to reach the nations for Him.

Rachel Hoffman
A wise man has told me several times, "preparation time is never wasted time." This phrae has kept me going for the last two and a half years through Bible school, first at Rhema, and here at Faith Bible School. Faith Bible School has given me much knowledge and strengthened my faith in the last 18 months.

Right now I, along with my husband, are the youth directors, and we know that this is just the beginning for us. First and foremost, my calling is to be a good wife and mother to my family.  want our children to grow up loving the Lord and following the plans He has for them. I believe that I will also be able to minister to people all over the world through music. This has already started to be fulfilled, mostly in the U.S. but also in Malawi, Africa.

I also have a heart for teen girls, especially teen mothers. I want to be able to have a support system set up so they are able to have a couple of hours a week to be a teen and have fun, but also let them know how much the Lord loves them and just let them know they can make it.

My last thought is this--Love the Lord with all of your heart, not just most of it. When you love Him with everything, He will fulfill the desires of your heart.

Carl Hoffman
Two years ago, God led me to attend Faith Bible School in order to prepare for the ministry He has called me to. Six months later, my ministry was to be a husband to my wife and to be the Youth Director at Faith Walk. One year after that, my ministry changed a little more. I am now called to be a husband and a father to my family as well as being the youth director.

Once I am fully prepared for the ministry, God has called me to help churches back to worshipping God rather than the strict traditions. He has also called me to take the Gospel into the world. I also know that sometime in the future, God has give me a vision for a Christian pool/dart hall and dance club that will be used to evangelize all ages. When God gives you a dream or vision, follow after it and you will be blessed.
