Missions

"Go into all of the world and preach the gospel to every creature." - Mark 16:15

OUR VISION is to evangelize and disciple the world for Jesus Christ. To do this, we believe we must reach out to people locally and also to people in foreign countries. We want as many people saved and set free as we can before Jesus returns for us.

MISSIONS GIVING is an offering, not a tithe. Your tithe, ten percent of your income, goes to the local church or storehouse (Malachi 3:8-12). Your tithe is set apart to God and belongs to Him. Your offering comes from the portion that God has given you authority over and is an amount over and above your tithe. Your offering should be what you have purposed in your heart to give (2 Cor. 9:6-11). God tells us to tithe and give offerings.

WE ENCOURAGE you to pray over our missionaries and local outreaches. Start supporting them as the Spirit instructs you to. You can mark on your pew envelopes in the missions box and write the name of the ministry beside it. Your gift will be sent out as you have designated.

FINANCES Please make your checks out to Faith Walk, and indicate on the memo line of your check which missions outreach you are designating. On your giving envelope indicate both the name of the missions outreach and the amount you are giving to them.

Your gifts to this ministry will help with missions outreaches to China, Russia, and the Amazon Ark in Peru. Additionally, your gifts help missionaries around the world when special needs arise.

Your gifts will help the Bennett's to reach out to the people of Sarnia with the message of faith. They need your support financially and spiritually.

Hand In Hand/House of Hope - Sierra Leone, Africa
Your gifts to Hand In Hand is a child sponsorship that helps orphan children in Sierra Leone.  Your gifts to House of Hope help the orphanage take care of the physical & spiritual needs of the children.  Both of these ministries are a part of our sister church, Faith Walk World Outreach Center Sierra Leone, Pastor Abdul & Faith Conteh.

Dr. Arthur and Suzanne Pitz Ministries - Europe and Israel
The Pitzs are ministering in 10 different nations in Europe. Recently, they have been in Skopje, Macedonia, where they started the Macedonia Education Support Association (MESA). This is one way to educate and get the gospel into Macedonia. The Pitzs also have a strong relationship with Israel and continue to go there as the Lord leads. The Pitzs helped bring the AFCM Bible School into Slovakia. They have also worked with the Youth with a Mission in Switzerland and the Ukraine.

Spirit, Soul, & Body Ministry - Silvis, IL
Your support helps to provide hot meals every Tuesday at Faith Walk for anyone in the community.

Women's Choice Center - Quad Cities.
Your support helps keep the center open as a safe place for women to get Godly counsel and advice when dealing with a pregnancy. No abortions are performed at the WCC.

Remember this: Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. II Cor. 9:10-11
